Accommodation
There are many hotels and serviced apartments in Sydney to suit all budgets.

We have provided a few recommendations below, but please let us know if you have any questions regarding accomodation. We recommend staying close to the city, such as the CBD, Darling Harbour or Circular Quay (vs. e.g. North Sydney). We live in Alexandria (15min. drive to the CBD) and a 10-minute walk from Green Square station (15mins to Circular Quay on the train).
Hotels
You can often get the best rates by booking in advance, direct and/or via expedia.com. If you're keen to stay close to where we live, we recommend Service Apartments (below) in Green Square.

Ace Hotel, (5-min walk to the City)
Luxury hotel with 2 restaurants and a 24-hour fitness centre. Located close to Central Station and the City Centre.

Serviced Apartments
There are lots of Serviced Apartments in Sydney. The following recommendations in Green Square are less than a 10 minute walk from where we live (Alexandria), and a 2 minute walk to the nearest train station. There are also many located in and around the city and harbour.

Reasonably-priced and well-designed serviced 1 and 2-bedroom apartments. Great for couples, friends sharing or families. $$

Luxury aparthotel with a fitness centre and a sauna. 1, 2 and 3-bedroom suites in the city and close to Darling Harbour. $$
Luxury Hotels (with Harbour Views & Pools)
If you're wanting a bougie stay, there are many high-end Luxury 5-star hotels with Harbour views and/or pools in the city or close-by. These include The Four Seasons, Shangri-La, The Kimpton Margot and The Langham. Below are a selection of some of the newest hotels with pools and great views.
The Eve, Surry Hills
One of the newest 5-star hotels close to the city. Not close to public transport, Uber would be be needed. $$$
W Hotel, Darling Harbour
The W Hotel offers everything you expect from their hotels, including a rooftop pool. $$$
